CUSTOM ORDER — DESIGN DEPOSIT

This listing is for a non-refundable custom design deposit. The deposit covers the time involved in developing your custom design and begins the custom-order process.

BEFORE PURCHASING YOUR DEPOSIT

Before purchasing your deposit, please take a few minutes to:

• Browse the available mohair colors on our website and make note of colors you are interested in.
• Browse our past work on our website and social media for inspiration and examples of our style. You can find us at Tumbling J Mohair on Facebook and Tumbling J Cinches & Silver on Instagram.
• Come to the design process with a general idea of the colors, style, or previous Tumbling J pieces you are drawn to. You do not need to have the entire design figured out—that’s what the design process is for!

AFTER YOU PURCHASE

Once your design deposit is received, we will begin discussing your custom piece. We’ll work together to choose colors, pattern, details and materials and develop a design specifically for you.

Your deposit is applied toward your custom order. Because design consultation requires dedicated time and work, design deposits are non-refundable, including if you decide not to move forward with the order after the design process has begun.

BRANDS, LOGOS & NAMES

I do not recommend incorporating brands, logos or names directly into the body of a cinch. Adding these elements can affect the tension and consistency of the weave, which can ultimately affect the fit and function of the cinch. The comfort and function of the horse come first at Tumbling J.

For double-layer woven cinches, such as cutter and roper styles, brands, logos or names may be added to the latigo keepers instead. Custom latigo keepers are professionally laser engraved and are available for an additional fee, quoted individually based on the design and engraving required.

All custom latigo keepers will also include the Tumbling J logo.

TURNAROUND TIME

Custom orders generally have an estimated 3–6 week turnaround, depending on current workload, design complexity and material availability.

Turnaround estimates begin once your design is finalized and all necessary materials are confirmed or available.

Because every custom piece and every workweek is different, we do not quote or guarantee an exact “how far out” date before the design and materials are established. If you need your piece by a specific date, please let us know before purchasing your deposit so we can tell you whether your timeframe is possible.

Once your design deposit is received, we will contact you by email to begin the design process. This gives us a good starting point for discussing your colors, ideas and inspiration. My email will come from : Jeana@TumblingJ.com

From there, we can continue by email or, if it would be helpful, move the conversation to text or a phone call—whichever you prefer. Some customers enjoy being more involved in the design process, while others are happy to give us a general direction and let us take it from there. Either is perfectly fine!
