Sonoran Mountain Turquoise Floral Buckle – Hand Fabricated Western Silver

A one-of-a-kind buckle created for those who appreciate true hand-crafted western silver.

This piece begins with a domed nickel silver base, shaped and finished entirely by hand to create depth and strength. Every edge has been carefully beveled and smoothed for a clean, refined finish. A twisted copper wire border frames the buckle, adding subtle texture and warmth against the silver background. 

The asymmetrical design features genuine Sonoran Mountain turquoise stones, known for their vivid blue-green color and natural character. Each stone is individually set in hand-formed fine silver bezels and arranged within a floral composition of sculpted sterling and copper flowers. Every petal was formed by hand, giving the design depth and movement that cannot be achieved with mass produced components.

The result is a buckle that blends traditional western silversmithing with a distinctive artistic style—balanced, durable, and made to be worn for generations.

Every step of fabrication—from doming the buckle to forming the flowers and setting the stones—was completed by hand in Texas. The back is stamped with the maker’s mark JMA, signifying authenticity and craftsmanship.
